— About Me

Russian Law Expert for International Matters

I am a Russian attorney and human rights lawyer, working at the intersection of Russian law and international practice. In California, I am officially registered as a foreign legal consultant. My work centers on preparing legal opinions and expert reports on Russian law, handling disputes with an international component, and drafting agreements under Russian law. I prepare documents in both Russian and English—opinions, statements, affidavits with annexes and translations—ensuring they are ready for submission to courts or arbitral tribunals.

I take a transparent and evidence-based approach: verifying every fact against client documents and grounding every argument in Russian law and judicial practice. Each statement is supported by citations and annexes so that courts and colleagues can easily verify and use the materials. From the outset, we establish which issues fall under Russian law and which require the involvement of licensed U.S. attorneys. My responsibility is to ensure that every document is legally sound in content, form, and translation, leaving no doubt for the court and ensuring smooth acceptance into proceedings.

Polina Sidelnikova

Registered Foreign Legal Consultant, California, USA

My role is to deliver clear, verifiable legal analyses under Russian law, where precision can determine the outcome of a case. I prepare documents so that they can be introduced into proceedings without modification. Every conclusion is substantiated by reliable sources, every formulation withstands questions from the court and opposing counsel, and each document conforms to the requirements of the specific forum.

I take personal responsibility for every document I produce. I do not substitute the law with preferences; I expressly set out risks and the boundaries of admissibility and preserve confidentiality at every stage. This practice mitigates procedural risks and enhances confidence in Russian law materials.

Core Areas of My Professional Activity:

How I Deliver Results

My work produces not merely an “opinion based on trust,” but a document suitable for submission to courts and arbitral bodies. To achieve this, I follow a transparent methodology: reviewing facts against the client’s records, grounding conclusions in Russian law and judicial practice, and supporting every position with accurate citations and excerpts.

Scope and Mode of Work

I am based in California and manage cases in the United States as well as matters involving Russian law abroad. I work both in person and remotely, with all communication and documents available in Russian and English. Final deliverables—such as legal opinions, declarations, and related materials—are prepared directly in the required format.
